About Imani

       Welcome to the world of Manimadness, a Chicago-based artist whose passion for creating art began at a very young age. My name is Imani T. Evans, and I've been drawing since I was three years old. My artistic impulses have led me to create on anything I can get my hands on - from paper to napkins, plates, and even walls.

       I have pursued my passion for art throughout my life, starting with earning AP art credits in high school and later earning a degree in Studio Art Painting. While it may not be the most conventional path, it is the one that speaks to my heart and soul. I know I was put on this earth to create art because of the reactions I get from people who view my work. They often say things like "I've never seen anything like that" or "I never thought a painting could have that type of meaning."

       My art is a personal expression of my thoughts and feelings in any given moment, but I'm always fascinated to hear others' interpretations of my work. I believe art is a form of communication that creates a connection between the artist and the viewer, and that connection inspires me to keep creating.

       Through my art, I hope to connect with people in a meaningful and vulnerable way, sharing my life, thoughts, and dreams with them. I invite you to take a journey through my artistic world and see what messages and meanings you discover.
